Minutes of the 480th regular meeting held Tuesday, April 2, 2007, in the Conference Room of the Sheriff’s Substation, 2500 Marconi Avenue, Sacramento, CA. Meeting was called to order at 7:33 by President Steve Chapman.

TREASURER’S REPORT WAS GIVEN.

NEW BUISNESS:

Dave Fibush is planning to send flyers of our Swap Meet . Voted on and accepted.

A motion was made to allow any person or business we felt was appropriate. Motion passed.

Another motion was proposed that professionals for various car services, based on a Club Members personal experience, be made available on a list for the use of our own members. Motion passed.

Jim Foskett brought up the support he thinks we should give for high school auto shop programs by the Club donating $100. Dan Schwartz, an expert on the subject, said to purchase a specific tool after asking the Shop Teacher what they need. Jim will look into it.

Another proposal was given to raise the yearly dues, in part, for the escalating postage. This will be looked into.

Kirkland Ranch Truck Show on April 28th will be the April tour. We will meet at the old Sam’s Club parking lot on Sunrise Blvd. We will be leaving at 9:30 A.M. Entrance to the show is free, food, however, may be brought or bought.

Somebody needed a Kaiser transmission fixed. Guest Larry Clark’s name was thrown out as a solution. Meeting was adjourned at 8 something.
